Design Development - Hybrid into Concept Drawings

Design Development - Hybrid into Concept Drawings After creating a hybrid model, how can I come up with a concept that develops from my hybrid model? After doing my hybrid models, I went into sketching a few design ideas for my buildings. I've decided that the best approach would be to combine the restaurant with my culinary school so that the restaurant and culinary school blends together as the market comes and introduces that two other buildings in one continuous program. My first iteration sketch, I was trying to figure out landscape as well as program spaces. I felt that things can be switches a big and made to blend better than it originally was in my sketch. I realized that I didn't stay with the organic and rigidness of my concept so I went back and created another set of drawings to try and represent my idea even better. Iteration One After looking at different culinary pieces that make a restaurant and a culinary school complete; I made this sket

Concept Development - Hybrid Model Combining the original nine models and taking just three to make a hybrid model. After taking the nine models, three each based on a collage; I've decided that through those nine I chose the following three for a reason. Let me explain. Site Impression: I chose the second one out of the three due to the reason that I wanted to represent the rigidness of the three different points of site. From landscape to building, and past to new. I felt that the second one could potentially help with creating something organic but still maintaining the rigidness of a potential structure. Strand: The first concept model out of the three was best fitting because it represents trying to enclose something important but in order to unravel that information one must go through one of the ends to reach the next and find yourself better than you were at point B from point A. Program: Program was represented by information being kept inside and

Concept Development - Concept Models Based on collages how can I design concept models to represent each collage in its own way. Diving into concept models were a big of a struggle. Originally starting out and doing figuring out what can represent my collages through creative expression and getting the idea of structure based on my site. Collage 1 - Site Impression my site gives off an impression of constant amounts of people walking and soaking in information about their surroundings. The culture in my site is extremely seen, from different races, to different tastes of food, the site is united by everyone which makes my site a thriving location for more of its culture to be brought more to life and be more known to accommodate other cultures. Through that mindset these models represent connection between three points. Collage 2 - Strand Strand has a lot of different interpretations to define what it actually means. In my mind, I view strand as entering one
